Job Title Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing Overview • Develop and implement innovative media strategies by identifying effective and impactful combinations of media channels in order to out-leverage MasterCard’s competition • Develop a comprehensive digital strategy and work toward embedding digital capabilities (eg, knowledge of digital/social media concepts and technical know-how) in all Marketing job families • Guide the creation and distribution of digital content to accelerate MasterCard's marketing strategies and address consumer needs/behaviors via digital channels Responsibilities • Leads execution of media strategies, campaigns, digital/social media strategies and programs that achieve overall product and business goals • Guides research on potential forms of media to leverage for marketing campaign • Refines media presentations and reports and attends presentations, including cost schedules and budget considerations • Interacts with external media community to keep team informed of marketplace trends, partner landscape, and consumer needs • Helps facilitate agency management activities, including supporting media buying process with agency and internal marketing team by negotiating value add items • Supports alignment efforts with Digital/Social Media to develop digital and social partnerships, media strategies, and programmatic buying strategies • Monitors and makes adjustments to Media Planning budget to ensure that all campaigns, programs, and activities are within allocated budget • Guides analysis of current effectiveness of digital/social marketing campaigns and research on industry trends and best practices • Guides design, production, and maintenance of all online web properties • Guides the development and evaluation of digital partners by providing contract support, and assigning relevant responsibilities among team members • Interacts with external digital community to keep team informed of marketplace trends, partner landscape, and consumer needs All About You • Be Digital First: Strong knowledge in the area of Digital Marketing and Media Agency management • Business judgment with basic planning skills - future oriented and capable of delivering creative approaches that drive business objectives. • Effective consultative abilities acting as an internal advocate, including excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish), with the ability to negotiate solutions that leave all parties satisfied with the future outcome. • Excellent relationship management skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups and all levels of management. • Be comfortable with ambiguity and working in a matrix organization. • Be able to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion. • Have proven experience with data sources and operational tools (ie. MS Office) • Enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic team and function such as marketing and communications. • Embrace change and look for solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency, solving challenges by leveraging process, tools and technology. • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Administration, Engineering or other analytic discipline preferred.
