In recent years Yara has been growing and acquiring an important position in the Latin America fertilizer market and actively supporting the development of sustainable, productive and profitable agriculture for different crops.
Currently we have the vacancy for the position of Market Intelligence Analyst.

We need a person with highly motivated leader profile, whose main purpose is to ensure compliance with the commercial strategy, through the implementation and development of value offers internalized in the commercial Use internal and external market data (crops, customers, competitors, value partners, etc.) to develop and deliver trustful and on-time information to support and improve decision making at Yara.
The position is based in Colombia, Bogota and will report directly to Business Specialist Coordinator

Responsibilities
Main functions:
Collect external data of the market
Search for databases of fertilizer market data for each country in North Cone.
Follow up on developed forms to gather market information as: fertilizers’ prices, crops’ prices, freights’ prices, market share estimations and market potential.
Create and develop new methods and tools to gather additional external data, when opportunity raises.
Analyze and process market data from both, internal and external sources
Develop mindful and useful reports (dashboards) to capture and highlight market trends.
Deliver on time analysis and recommendations to anticipate market movements and respond to different situations.
Follow up on commodities trends in the international market, specially prices trends and forecast.
Follow up on local market imports, paying close attention to volumes and prices.
Maintain updated minimum market data information by building structured databases.
Define markets’ potential fertilizer volume, by crop and micro-zone
Determine Yara’s market share and growth potential for current and new products, by crop and micro-zones
Create short term accurate intelligence on products/solutions pricing trends
Close follow up on competitor’s actions and main indicators, as estimated sales, prices movements and inventory positioning, among others.
Value chain parties and general data related to them.
Support the development of Yara’s strategy and definition of competitive advantages
Help to develop and achieve Yara’s KPIs, roadmaps and business plans
Profile
Formal education: Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economy, Foreign Trade or related careers. Desirable operating knowledge in Office tools, specifically Excel (pivot tables obligatory, macros optional), basic knowledge of SAP, CRM (Salesforce) and project tools, previous experience in Crop Nutrition not required but desirable.
