**This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).**
Quality Verification and Standards (QVS)
Engineering at EA ensures game excellence through advanced software solutions. To increase innovation, QVS is building the **Quality Technology Platform (QTP)**—an internal developer platform that reduces duplication, improves developer experience, and enables reusable, secure solutions across studios.
As a **Sr**Platform Engineer**, Reporting to the QTP Sr. Delivery Manager, you'll design and implement reusable infrastructure components that help game teams to deliver faster and at scale.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will design and implement well-tested **Infrastructure-as-Code modules** (Terraform) prioritizing usability, security, observability and reliability.
- You will write **clear, developer-facing documentation** to ensure ease of adoption.
- You will ensure the quality of the code by participating in **code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions**.
- You will conduct incident investigations and postmortems for infrastructure-related issues.
- You will understand and align your contributions to the **technical vision** set by the QIS Lead Platform Engineer and Platform Architect and work with team members to align their contributions to it as well.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years experience developing software.
- 3+ years experience developing and supporting scalable, secure infrastructure systems using cloud services with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience with a scripting language (e.g., **Python**).
- Familiarity consuming and designing APIs.
- Experience working with multiple cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure and GCP)
- Basic Proficiency with NOSQL and SQL DB
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation.
- Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies
