Job overview:

Our Senior Interactive Designer reports directly to the Client Service Manager and will design & animate custom, rich media, mobile ad experiences. An ideal candidate will be passionate, solution-driven, versátil, and love creating beautiful & innovative digital advertising products.

Responsibilities:

- Design & animate visually stunning and cutting-edge mobile advertising experiences and advertising campaigns
- Work with Rich Media authoring tools to produce standards-compliant interactive ads
- Employ a user-centered design to create intuitive design solutions
- Collaborate with Client Service Managers through internal brainstorms & discussions to bring big ideas to life on the mobile screen




- Develop an understanding of responsive design across mobile devices
- Collaborate and review with the design team to refine user interfaces for enhancing user experience
- Adhere to the client’s ad unit best practice standards in all campaign output
- Proactively develop an ongoing knowledge base of new technologies and products, and identify needs and opportunities for additional advertising products
- Contribute to product ideation with mocks & prototypes of innovative ideas.
- Design & execute pre-sale ad campaign mocks
- Lead and participate in client brainstorms & creative meetings when requested
- Be a subject-matter expert–own a specific function based on the current needs of the organization–you’ll be one of the go-to design resources for the West Coast team
- Act as a mentor and manager to lower-level designers and help to promote their growth
- Execute on quick-turnaround design requests from other departments

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Advanced, near-native English proficiency
- 5+ years of relevant experience in similar roles




- Portfolio featuring past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions
- Excellent visual design talent, with a pixel-level eye for detail
- Passion for innovation and user experience
- Ability to manage work autonomously, multi-task, and meet fast-evolving deadlines with a curiosity and passion for building rich, new ad experiences
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; the ability to explain your design decisions clearly and persuasively
- Get-it-done attitude without compromising quality
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experienced in animation
- Experience using Celtra Ad Builder is highly preferred




- Mobile advertising experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency in mobile advertising and UI/UX design for mobile platforms.
- People management experience
- Desktop ads experience is a plus

On-site role based in Bogota.
