The Role
We're looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help build our outbound sales engine. You'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and booking meetings with professional vacation rental operators managing 20–500 properties.
This role is focused on outbound prospecting and qualification, working closely with our Sales Director to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality sales conversations.
This position will begin with a trial period to ensure a strong mutual fit, with the intention of transitioning into a longer-term engagement based on performance.
What You'll Do
• Prospect and engage short-term rental property managers via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book meetings for Account Executives
• Clearly articulate StayFi's value proposition to decision-makers
• Handle objections and guide prospects toward next steps
• Maintain accurate activity and lead records in HubSpot CRM
• Follow up with prospects and nurture conversations through the sales funnel
• Consistently hit or exceed monthly meeting-set targets
Requirements
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a BDR, SDR, or in an outbound sales role
• Comfortable with cold calling and high-volume outreach
• Strong communication, listening, and objection-handling skills
• Experience qualifying leads and booking sales meetings
• Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a structured outbound workflow
Nice to Have
• SaaS or technology sales experience
• Hospitality, travel, or short-term rental industry experience
• Experience selling to SMBs or mid-market operators
Compensation & Incentives
• Base Salary: $1,000 USD per month
• Commission: Up to $1,000 USD per month based on meetings booked and qualified (OTE $2,000/month)

Trial Period
This role will start with a trial period focused on:
• Call quality and communication skills
• Volume and consistency of outbound activity
• Ability to book qualified meetings
• CRM usage and follow-up discipline
Successful performance during the trial period will lead to an ongoing role.
