The Workplace and Technology Group is accountable for leading, influencing and ensuring that our corporate and transport technologies deliver to business and customer outcomes.

The Group is accountable for all cyber and physical security issues, ensuring that the Transport Agency meets its ongoing security and compliance obligations.

The purpose of this role is to support the team in delivering information and records management services for the NZ Transport Agency. This role provides advisory and support services for business clients who require information, library and records management services across the whole of the organisation.

Your excellent customer service and relationship building skills will enable you to work effectively with your internal customers and external organisations you will deal with.
You will provide advice through your subject matter expertise and contribute to thedevelopment, maintenance and customer awareness of systems and policies for corporate information and records management.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience advising, analysing and improving information, library and records management services.

Knowledge of Government and professional information related legislation, standards, policies and practices.

Technical competence in aspects of information management such as - content management, records management or library science.

Experience participating in information management projects and initiatives.

Tertiary Information qualification preferred.

Ideally 3-5 years experience but people with less experience would be considered if you can demonstrate a good depth of knowledge, exposure and ability.
