The position

Empresa confidencial is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant and Treasury to join our team. As the Senior Accountant,



you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring adherence to accounting principles. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the executive team to optimize financial procedures and play a key role in the overall expansion of the company.

What You'll Do

General Accounting:

Maintain the financial books for Empresa confidencial’s Colombian entity.
Prepare and record journal entries on an accrual basis in accordance with Colombian GAAP and IFRS.
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Lead the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform periodic account reconciliations.

Treasury Management

Manage daily cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.
Oversee bank accounts, payments, and cash positioning.
Execute and monitor local and international payments.
Manage foreign currency transactions and exposure.
Prepare short- and long-term cash flo
