Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate. Location: Colombia (Remote). Type of Contract: Full-Time | EOR. Salary Range: $1,000 – $1,400 USD per month. Language Requirements: Advanced English (written and verbal).
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Associate with hands‑on experience in invoicing, payment processing, and financial reporting to join our growing accounting team. You will play a key role in managing receivables, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting collections efforts. Your work will directly impact cash flow accuracy, reporting reliability, and overall financial operations efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily Accounts Receivable (A/R) transactions and generate reports in NetSuite.
- Prepare, issue, and verify customer invoices for goods and services.
- Record and track client payments including checks, EFT, ACH, and credit card transactions.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies while supporting collections activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential financial records in compliance with company policies.
- Organize and manage electronic financial documentation according to established procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for the Accounting Director.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (additional accounting coursework preferred).
- Minimum 1+ year of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting/ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong data entry skills, including 10-key by touch and minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience working with U.S.-based companies.
- Familiarity with internal controls and compliance standards.
