This role has been refined to focus specifically on core accounting excellence, with a heavy emphasis on QuickBooks (both Desktop and Online). Manage all daily general ledger activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and vendor management.
- QuickBooks Management: Maintain and reconcile accounts across both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, ensuring a clean transition and parity between systems.
- Reconciliations: Perform high-frequency reconciliations of Escrow/Trust accounts and Warehouse Lines, monitoring daily liquidity and net worth requirements.
- Liaison for Outsourced Projects: Act as the internal facilitator for Power BI contractors, providing them with the necessary data exports and financial context to build company dashboards.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for executive leadership.
- Audit Support: Maintain rigorous work papers and serve as the primary point of contact for yearly CPA audits.

- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior experience in Mortgage Lending, Banking, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
- Technical Literacy: While you won't be building the dashboards yourself, you must be comfortable enough with data to guide Power BI developers.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Attention to Detail: A "zero-error" mindset regarding general ledger accuracy and bank reconciliations.
