Machine Operator Palletizer - Day Shift

Join our dynamic food manufacturing team at Diamond Pet Foods as a Machine Operator specializing as a Palletizer! Working hours are 4:00 am - 4:20 pm. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment in a fast‑paced, quality and safety‑focused environment. You will be instrumental in monitoring the palletizer and ensuring high‑quality product stacking for storage and shipping. Duties may also include performing routine maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring consistent production standards. $20.00 per hour (Full‑Time)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitor and operate palletizing machinery.
- Perform routine adjustments and changeovers: pallet configuration, pallet centering, and wrap tension.
- Move full pallets and store them properly without damage.




- Perform routine maintenance on the machinery and troubleshoot minor operating issues.
- Ensure pallets and cardboard are always available to the palletizer.
- Understand and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, and HACCP.
- Work overtime as required and maintain full participation.
- Keep work area clean and maintain assigned portion of the master sanitation schedule.
- Report all safety violations and hazards to the supervisor immediately and participate in all safety programs and procedures. Must always wear required PPE.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor, accepted with a positive and professional attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment screening (drug screen, background check, and physical).
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to get on and off forklifts easily.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Work is performed indoors and outdoors near operating equipment, loud noises, and loose particles.
- Work requires employees to operate in varying temperatures and extended standing times.
- Employees must wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses at all times.
