About This Role

The role of a Contractor Logistics Support Specialist is to provide logistics support and coordination for a CLS program in the following areas: supply and distribution; maintenance and software support; component rebuild or overhaul; and materiel support. Additionally, the specialist will understand the entire life cycle of a product, to include the acquisition, distribution, allocation, and delivery. They must understand the functional fields in logístical planning (requirements, capabilities, lead times, and costs) with enough depth, to enable proper analysis of the information that is obtained. Furthermore, the specialist must also have a broad knowledge of supply systems, procedures, and programs. The most important ability is to be able to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementation in a logistics management program.

identifying requirements for spare and repair parts, facilities, materiel, and equipment, in support of personnel performing maintenance, training, and upkeep on delivered simulator training systems.
