Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the AML Quality Assurance, Integral Testing in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Responsible for executing planned testing activities to assess the adequacy, adherence, and effectiveness of controls across Canadian Banking and Global Operations.

The individual contributes to the overall success of the Global Testing team by completing regular, ad-hoc,
and/or focused reviews as necessary, as well as other testing duties and projects as assigned.





The individual maintains a high level of expertise and knowledge related to enterprise policies and procedures
as well as legislative requirements in order to effectively assess controls.

Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Performs ad-hoc, special, and/or focused reviews as necessary, as well as other testing duties and task as assigned, concisely and accurately reports results from testing activities, independently executes planned testing activities.
- Develops and maintains a strong knowledge related to AML operations, policies and procedures across Canadian and International Banking.
- Develops and maintains a strong knowledge related to regulatory requirements in Canada and other jurisdictions (as required).
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
