Epidemiology Medical Writer Manager, RWE – open to several EMEA and LATAM countries (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

The Research Manager, Real World Evidence (RWE) is responsible for executing a variety of claims database analyses, prospective and retrospective multi-site observational studies, and patient-reported outcomes studies, producing high-quality RWE research and raising awareness of RWE.

- Dedicate a significant portion to medical writing, supporting the design and execution of Real World Evidence (RWE) studies.
- Contribute to development of study protocols across a range of methodologies, including general/regional healthcare claims database studies, multi-site observational studies, PRO studies, and systematic literature reviews.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific rigor, clarity of research objectives, and high-quality, client-ready deliverables.
- Deliver project outputs within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
- Prepare draft study reports and external publications with oversight.




- Contribute to materials for congress presentations and manuscripts.
- Serve as primary sponsor contact for assigned projects.
- Participate in business development activities.

Qualifications

- Advanced degree (Master’s) in epidemiology, economics, public health, or related health fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of experience writing protocols, study reports, and similar documents for RWE/RWLP work.
- Understanding of retrospective and prospective research methods, phase IIIB/IV study designs, HEOR and related methodology.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Regional Real World Research experience.
- Proficiency with personal computers and statistical software.
- Fluent in written English with regional language fluency preferred (Japanese, Chinese, Korean).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 10‑15%).

FLSA status: Exempt

Years of experience required: Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related industry experience.
