- As a Senior Application Support Engineer , you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of production systems that power client-facing digital platforms.
- This role operates at the intersection of operations, engineering, and business , handling complex production issues and driving long‑term resilience.
Your Impact
- Own production support for complex applications , resolving moderate to high‑severity incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with L1, L2, L3 engineers, product, and business teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Leverage monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify risks and performance issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying vulnerabilities, trends, and operational inefficiencies.
- Use AI-powered productivity tools to improve troubleshooting speed, documentation quality, and operational effectiveness.
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in the functional or application lifecycle domain (e.g., testing, business analysis, application support).
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in production / operations support environments.
- Experience with incident and service management tools (ServiceNow ITSM).
- Working knowledge of:
- Monitoring & Observability: Dynatrace, Splunk
- APIs & Testing: Postman
- Databases: SQL, SQL Developer
- Delivery & Agile Tools: Rally (preferred)
- Exposure to Java and Web Services in a support or troubleshooting context.
- Proven ability to analyze, document, and communicate technical and business requirements clearly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams .
