Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Technology Workforce Management team / Technology globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Collaborate with vendors, contract owners and business leaders to ensure operations' alignment to the Scotiabank's External Workforce Management Governance and provide advisory to stakeholders about the team's process.
Responsible for Technology External Workforce contract execution, invoices and reporting, committing to comply with specific individual goals, plans, initiatives in support of the team's business strategies and objectives with full adherence to governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Performs contract validation, execution and closing activities and updates tracker tools (Access, Excel, Jira), processes contracts leveraging bank's contracting applications (COUPA SmartBuy, SAP Fieldglass, Icertis), and distributes published contracts to supplier by e-mail.
Tracks incoming and historical contract data in Excel/access database for KPIs reporting.
Aligns to the team's established SLAs.
Performs invoice processing including reception, validation and submission of invoices for payment, safeguarding deliverables or timesheets to comply with the contract executed.
Maintains invoice records and tracks to payment.
Handles contract/Purchase Order (PO) closures.
Participates and suggests enhancements to existing team's processes.
Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Integral Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Supports Technology CIO areas globally.
Contract execution, approximately ***** monthly volume.
Invoice management per team, approximately 100 monthly volume.
Ad-hoc reporting.
Aligning to Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Global Procurement Services (GPS) and Finance policies.
Education / Experience / Other Information
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management, finance, marketing, law/jurisprudence or relevant work experience.
Minimum 2 years progressive experience in third-party/supplier engagement activities.
Fair knowledge about contract management (Master Agreement, Statement of Works, purchase order tools, invoice process, etc.) or ability and interest to learn on the job.
Analytical skills and experience in working with a large dataset on Microsoft Excel.
Nice to have: Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Jira.
Experience with automation and/or operational excellence projects will be a plus.
Stakeholder management skills and comfort in speaking with leaders at the Bank.
English level advanced.
Fixed-term contract.
Working Conditions
Work in a hybrid model: standard office-based and remote environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
No travel is required for this position.
