A Day in the Life
The role supports the U.S. and Puerto Rico Payroll team by ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
Responsibilities include assisting with time administration, bi-weekly payroll processing, payroll and time system testing, process improvement initiatives, project support, training, and payroll-related communications.
This position partners with internal teams to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.
The role operates in a hybrid work environment based in Bogotá.
Responsibilities
Ensure employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
Analyze, audit, reconcile, and resolve complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing.
Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations.
Research and interpret regulatory requirements and resolve tax, withholding, and garnishment issues for payroll processing.
Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries.
Create standard operating procedures,



respond to merger and acquisition activities.
Ensure time systems are compliant with company policy and government regulations.
Respond to and resolve employee and client inquiries.
Work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service provider.
Functional skills: Payroll Practices, Wage and Hour Laws/Compliance, Data Analysis, Knowledge Management.
Additional skills: Problem Solving, Detail Oriented, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Service, Process Improvement, Communication.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree.
Experience working with Workday.
One year of experience in payroll.
Experience in USA payroll is advantageous.
Fluent English is a must (C1 level).
