**Inventory Control Specialist (Hybrid - Colombia)**

**Location**: Colombia (Hybrid)

**Job Type**: Full-time
**Schedule**: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
**Compensation**: $4 USD per hour

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform daily inventory control, including operational balances, damage tracking, and team training
- Support operations planning and resource scheduling
- Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory audits (raw materials, spare parts, finished goods)
- Monitor product expiration dates within warehouse (CEDI) and raw materials
- Manage blocked inventory, obsolete materials, write-offs, and disposal processes
- Track and analyze inventory and operational KPIs
- Support WMS configuration, updates, and user training
- Review inventory levels to ensure continuous customer supply
- Lead warehouse capacity planning and storage optimization initiatives
- Coordinate replenishment from external warehouses and monitor inter-plant transfers
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, efficiency, cost savings)
- Act as Internal Controls Leader
- Ensure procedures and documentation are updated monthly
- Support month-end closing activities and reporting
- Prepare monthly Inventory Value Reports
- Optimize warehouse space utilization
- Manage corrective actions related to inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate logistics activities with planning, purchasing, import, and export teams
- Maintain proper documentation for inventory disposal
- Update inventory master data and profiles
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) compliance
- Lead biometric systems and transportation claims processes
- Conduct internal audits within warehouse operations
- Implement and comply with corporate programs (EHS, QMS, SOX, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with company behavioral and operational standards

**Quality Responsibilities**




- Follow Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures
- Ensure proper document control practices
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Support KPI monitoring and customer satisfaction initiatives
- Report and escalate quality incidents
- Promote continuous improvement culture

**EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Responsibilities**
- Comply with risk prevention and safety procedures
- Report hazards and unsafe conditions
- Participate in health, safety, and environmental programs
- Promote environmental responsibility

**PESV (Road Safety) Responsibilities**
- Participate in road safety training programs
- Report unsafe driving or road conditions

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Technical degree or technologist in a related field
- Preferred: Accounting, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering

**Experience**:

- At least 1 year of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of administrative and inventory processes
- Experience working with WMS (preferably SAP)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Basic team coordination or supervision experience

**Technology**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
