Project Manager – US Commercial Construction Projects

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing US commercial construction projects. This role is adecuado for someone who understands the full construction project lifecycle, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can confidently coordinate between clients, vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.

Candidates with experience working for US-based construction companies or managing US commercial construction projects remotely are strongly preferred.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates in South Africa, Philippines, and LATAM regions.

Compensation

- Compensation range: $2,000–$3,000 USD per month

- Final compensation will depend on experience, project exposure, technical capability, and overall fit for the role

Priority will be given to candidates who have:

- Worked with US-based construction companies

- Managed US commercial construction projects

- Operated within US construction processes and standards

Key Responsibilities

- Manage commercial construction projects from kickoff through closeout

- Coordinate project timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication

- Handle and track:

- Submittals

- RFIs

- Change Orders

- Delivery Coordination

- Punch Lists

- Project Closeouts





- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, field teams, and clients

- Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and deliverables

- Maintain accurate project records and reporting

- Ensure projects remain aligned with client expectations and construction timelines

- Assist with issue resolution and proactive project coordination

Non-Negotiable Requirements

1. Minimum 3+ years of direct experience managing US commercial construction projects

2. Experience working in at least 2 different US construction businesses

3. Strong understanding of the full construction project lifecycle, including:

- Submittals

- RFIs

- Change Orders

- Delivery Coordination

- Punch Lists

- Closeout Procedures

- Experience using construction project management software such as:

- Procore

- Bluebeam

- Similar construction management platforms

- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts across projects

Preferred Background

- Experience from construction trades or specialty subcontracting businesses that sell and manage projects directly

- General contracting or installation experience will also be considered

- Prior experience working remotely with US-based teams

- Familiarity with US commercial construction standards and workflows

- Ability to work within US business hours when required
