David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Network Administrator for their Gaming studios in Bogota, Colombia.

Position: Network Administrator

Location: Bogota, Colombia

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and high performance

- Manage Cisco networking devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points

- Oversee daily network operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to maintain uninterrupted connectivity

- Configure and manage wireless networks ensuring stable connections and security compliance

- Provide system administration support for Linux and Windows environments, configuring network services and security protocols

- Diagnose and resolve network issues across routing, switching, and wireless systems using appropriate diagnostic tools

- Implement and maintain network security measures including ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems





- Ensure full compliance with internal security standards and operational procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration

- Strong expertise in managing Cisco networking equipment and wireless infrastructure

- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux system administration and network services

- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, and OSPF

- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, PRTG, Zabbix, or Nagios

- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken

- Flexible to work in rotating shifts within a 24/7 live studio environment - 6.30am - 3.30pm, 10am - 7pm 2.30pm - 11.30pm, 10.30pm - 7.30am.

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
