Job Title:

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT ACCOUNTANT II IS TO ENSURE TIMELY AND ACCURATE PROJECT FINANCIAL INFORMATION BY INVESTIGATING ESTIMATE AT COMPLETION (EAC) COST VARIANCES, CALCULATING PERCENTAGE OF COMPLETION FOR LUMP SUM PROJECTS, PROCESSING REVENUE EVENTS, AND PREPARING STANDARD AND MANAGEMENT PROJECT REPORTS.

THROUGH EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION WITH PROJECT TEAMS, THE ROLE CONTRIBUTES TO IMPROVED COST CONTROL, RELIABLE REVENUE RECOGNITION, AND TRANSPARENT FINANCIAL REPORTING, SUPPORTING PROJECT PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT OVERSIGHT WHILE MAINTAINING COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNAL FINANCIAL POLICIES AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Cost & Forecasting Support

Investigate Estimate at Completion (EAC) cost variances and movements in coordination with Project Managers and project teams.

Support analysis of forecast changes and cost drivers impacting project performance.

Revenue Recognition & POC

Calculate percentage of completion (POC) for lump sum projects in accordance with Worley accounting policies and project financial guidelines.

Support accurate revenue recognition through validation of cost, progress, and forecast data.

Revenue Processing

Upload and maintain revenue events in the financial systems.

Ensure consistency between project costs, progress, and recognized revenue.

Project Reporting

Prepare standard project financial reports for Project Managers and Finance, including cost, revenue, margin, and progress indicators.





Support management reporting and ad‑hoc financial analysis requests related to project performance.

Operational / Junior Accounting Activities

Run BR reports and other standard financial reports as required.

Support routine project accounting tasks, reconciliations, and data validation activities.

Assist with project‑related month‑end close activities under supervision.

What will you bring?

Software, processes, and tools:

·University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically 5 to 10 years relevant experience.

·Project cost analysis and variance investigation

·Financial reporting and data accuracy

·Ability to perform both analytical and routine accounting tasks

·Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

·Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

·Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (. pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and data analysis); Word and PowerPoint.

·Strong analytical skills, with the desire to develop and apply problem-solving skills for our team

- Able to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
