**About this roles**:
The corporate and public affairs intern will join a dynamic team and will be able to directly influence Boston Scientific's positioning in the region. It will impact a wide range of forward-looking public policy and sector engagement issues driven by what is best for our stakeholders and the system in which we operate.

To develop competence in strategic and/or operational work while performing in a profeesional work situation with emphasis placed upon training and development, and to expand professional preparation experiencies far beyond the potential inherent in classroom and laboratory activities. Each internship is unique, based on matching the educational and career objectives of the student to the actitivities of a particular functional area and its specific needs.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Conduct research on various topics related to public health and health economics. Analyze public policy documents. Test and edit key documents and products for internal and external use. Project policy memos, news alerts, and letters. Attend meetings with external stakeholders and those in charge of projects and policy formulation




- Works on specific functional area objectives or projects that may require research, working in teams, developing presentations, designing strategies, and keeping abreast of current industry events, market trends, or competitors products.
- Conducts her/himself as a regular full-time member of the staff by accepting and adhering to BSC's rules and regulations and by engaging in professional and personable conduct at all times with staff and customers. The intern is also obligated to comply with any confidentiality and professional policies established by Boston Scientific.
- Becomes knowledgeable about her or his own responsibilities and the business and operational issues inherent in them as well as about the BSC's management and particular issues relevant to the Company.
- Contributes to the preparation and production of proposals and reports by using word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer programs.
- Prepares an oral and written evaluation for presentation to Management upon completion of internship.

**What we are looking for**:

- Current student in Political Sciences, Biomedicals, Physicians, Economists. (mandatory)
- Fluent English (at least B2)

The Corporate and Public Affairs Intern will join a dynamic team and will be able to directly influence Boston Scientific's positioning in the region. You will have impact on a wide range of sector engagement and public policy issues that are forward-thinking and driven by what is best for our stakeholders and the system in which we operate.
You should be interested in understanding our health systems and exploring how organizations can work together to make them work better. You will also support outreach efforts for the various initiatives. This internship offers opportunities to become familiar with the public policy-making process in both a legislative and executive environment and may be exposed to spaces with congressional and government stakeholders. Idóneo applicants will have an interest in public health/public policy, government affairs work and strategic communications.

The work involves working collaboratively with other companies as well as internal units to identify and manage current and emerging issues, social impact, external stake holders and advocacy opportunities.
