Role Overview
Empresa confidencial is seeking a Data Scientist with direct experience in travel technology to develop predictive models and data-driven insights that optimize pricing, personalization, and marketplace performance.

Key Responsibilities
Build statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting, pricing, and recommendation systems.
Analyze booking patterns, search behavior, and customer engagement data.
Develop customer segmentation and personalization strategies.
Create dashboards and KPIs to support business decision-making.
Partner with product, engineering, and growth teams.
Design and evaluate A/B tests and experimentation frameworks.
Improve fraud detection and operational efficiency models.

Requirements




4+ years of experience in data science.
Proven experience in travel tech, OTAs, hospitality, or online marketplaces.
Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks.
Experience with predictive modeling, experimentation, and statistical analysis.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
Fluent in English.

Good to have
Experience with recommendation engines and pricing algorithms.
Knowledge of booking, inventory, and customer behavior data.
Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
