Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Scotia Movil Delivery in Uruguay ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Design and develop new features for native iOS applications (Swift/Objective-C).
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Integrate applications with APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and Product Owners to ensure the best user experience.
- Write clean, well-documented code, including unit and integration tests.
- Participate in CI/CD processes and in publishing applications to the App Store.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Education / Experience / Other Information

Technical Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing native iOS applications.
- Strong knowledge of Swift (Objective-C is a plus).
- Experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with Apple frameworks: UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, Core Data.
- Proficient with version control using Git and experienced in Agile methodologies.
