The Customer Project Manager will oversee smaller, less complex projects within an assigned account or group of accounts. This position involves coordinating project schedules, managing resources, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage small to medium-sized customer projects, including scheduling, resourcing, and progress tracking.
- Lead project teams to deliver initiatives that may span multiple business or technology areas, maintaining clear alignment with stakeholders.
- Manage scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and communication across all project stages.
- Track and manage project issues using JIRA or similar tools.
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, focusing on critical success factors and client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Identify, document, and escalate issues promptly, collaborating with engineering and business teams to resolve them.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous project management experience, ideally in a technical or services environment.
- Familiarity with project management standards such as PMBOK.
- Basic understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, or Rally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (required).
- Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe are advantageous but not mandatory.
