Project Associate

- This position is based in Apia, Samoa

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Secretariat supporting role to the project Steering Committee with meetings, project review, and evaluation.
- Support the delivery of the project workplan.
- Assist with the documentation of project proposals, progress reports, and final technical and financial reports.
- Assist with project-related procurement processes.
- Support the development of communication materials, dissemination, and information sharing between all partners and stakeholders, in close collaboration with CI Communication team and the Project Manager




- Provide logístical assistance for site visits and learning activities. This includes support for training sessions, workshops, consultations, seminars, and conferences. Also, aid with event communications, travel arrangements, and vendor management.
- Assist in collecting, documenting, analyzing, and validating data and information related to the project
- Provide support with project monitoring and evaluation, including the creation of status reports intended for a general audience
- Does not manage staff, not accountable for any operating budget, or manages public or private funds.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Typical office environment.
- May need to work beyond normal working hours as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
- Up to 2 years of related work experience in marine and/or fisheries and environment conservation and management work, or in a related fiel
