EPAM is searching for an accomplished Lead Functional Testerto oversee all aspects of daily testing for a gaming project in an on-site setting.

Responsibilities
- Allocate and manage daily assignments for the Test Team to address the most urgent needs
- Act as the main interface between the Client’s QA Analysts and the Test Team, coordinating all incoming queries
- Track and record team metrics, including attendance, challenges, and escalations
- Review and measure tester performance and project contributions
- Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members
- Identify, address, and escalate defects or blockers that impact team deliverables

Requirements:
- 5+ years of direct experience in software testing
- Strong grasp of project documentation and the ability to perform in VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) environments with limited resources
- Demonstrated history of planning, carrying out, and documenting team testing activities
- Advanced ability to install and operate builds on gaming consoles and mobile devices,



and to instruct others in these procedures
- Experience leading teams of 5-20 testers on established projects or building testing processes from the ground up
- Background in sharing knowledge, onboarding, and developing team skills
- In-depth understanding of software quality assurance and the software development lifecycle
- Self-directed and able to complete assignments without supervision
- Fully accountable for the quality and outcomes of assigned testing tasks
- Trustworthy in handling confidential client information
- Collaborative team member who inspires motivation and teamwork
- Encourages ongoing professional growth through practical experience and learning opportunities
- High-level English proficiency (written and spoken) at B2+ or above
