Insurance Verification Specialist

Why this role exists

Every therapy session, evaluation, and scan that happens at a U.S. outpatient clinic depends on one thing getting done right before care begins: the insurance is verified and the authorization is in place. When eligibility is checked correctly and an authorization clears on time, a family gets the care they need without a fight. When it doesn't, care gets delayed and bills pile up.

You'll own that process. As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you'll run eligibility and benefits verification and secure authorizations for outpatient practices across speech therapy, occupational therapy, ABA, imaging, infusion centers, and behavioral health, the partners we support across the U.S. You won't just process requests; you'll be accountable for the quality of the work and the outcomes it produces.

This isn't a clock-in, clock-out job. We're looking for someone curious, fast to learn, and hungry to build a real career in U.S. healthcare operations.

What you'll do




- Verify insurance, every time. Run eligibility and benefits checks accurately and completely, confirming coverage details before care begins so nothing is missed.
- Own quality and outcomes. Review your own and the team's verifications and authorizations for accuracy, catch errors before they cause denials or delays, and make sure target outcomes are consistently met. You're the checkpoint that keeps the work clean.
- Keep the EHR accurate. Enter and maintain patient and insurance information with precision. Current, error-free records are non-negotiable.
- Track and report. Use Excel (including pivot tables) to monitor verification and authorization volume, turnaround, and outcomes, and surface where things are slipping.
- Be the connective tissue. Coordinate between clinical staff, insurance payers, and families to keep the verification-to-care process moving smoothly.
