The Role

Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead two established teams, delivering high‑quality outcomes while fostering a supportive team culture.

Location

Fully remote for candidates based in Colombia.

Responsibilities

- Own day‑to‑day delivery of the team, ensuring predictable, high‑quality outcomes aligned with product and business goals.
- Lead delivery rituals such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives; continuously improve how the team works.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to shape backlogs, clarify requirements, and align on priorities and timelines.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Principal Engineers to ensure alignment on technical direction and delivery plans.
- Maintain operational excellence, including system reliability, incident management, and support processes.
- Support and develop the team through regular 1:1s, feedback, and growth conversations.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive team environment where people feel safe to contribute and grow.
- Help manage performance, engagement, and wellbeing across the team, ensuring continuity during the maternity cover period.
- Provide visibility on delivery progress, risks, and metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to hiring and onboarding if needed, supporting the team's stability and continuity.





About You

- Experience leading engineering teams in a product‑led, SaaS environment.
- Background in software engineering and comfortable engaging in technical discussions with the team.
- Owned delivery outcomes end‑to‑end, balancing quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- People‑focused leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and supporting others to grow.
- Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working across teams and time zones, building strong relationships with Product and Engineering peers.
- Thrives in environments where priorities evolve, bringing clarity and structure when needed.
- Approaches leadership with empathy, curiosity, and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Engages in the use of AI tools regularly to support day‑to‑day tasks.
