Your Role and Responsibilities

- As a Security Consultant specializing in Email Security, you play a key role in helping client IT and business stakeholders understand email‑borne threats, risks, and vulnerabilities such as phishing, BEC, and malware. You apply security and Zero Trust principles to design and optimize secure email strategies using platforms like Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Proofpoint, Cisco ESA, etc.
- Administer and operate Microsoft secure email solutions.
- Manage and support enterprise email security platforms such as Check Point Email Security, Proofpoint, Trend Micro Email Security.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize email security controls, including spam filtering, anti‑phishing, and malware protection.
- Perform email investigations using header analysis, message tracing, and delivery diagnostics.
- Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft Defender for Office 365 or Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Operational knowledge of enterprise email security platforms (Check Point, Proofpoint, Trend Micro).
- Understanding of email authentication standards: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Solid knowledge of email threat vectors, including phishing, spoofing, malware, and BEC attacks.




- Experience with Exchange Online, including transport rules and email security policies.
- Proficiency in email analysis and troubleshooting tools, such as header analyzers and message trace utilities.

- Collaborate with SOC and IT teams during email‑related security incidents.
- Apply behavioral analysis concepts using tools such as Darktrace, depending on the environment implementation.
- Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls for email security.
