We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a US-based B2B SaaS startup in the field-service industry. This is a hands‑on role focused on building reliable data pipelines and integrations that connect external platforms — such as Google Drive, CRMs, and field‑service management tools — to a growing multi‑tenant application.

You will own the data integration layer end-to-end: designing orchestration workflows, implementing monitoring and failure recovery, and ensuring each new connection can be added with minimal friction. The team is small, collaborative, and ships in short cycles with heavy use of AI development tools.

What you will do

- Build and maintain orchestrated data pipelines on AWS (Step Functions, Lambda, ECS)
- Design integration patterns for external APIs with proper auth, error handling, and retry logic
- Harden CI/CD with progressive deployment strategies and automated safeguards
- Set up monitoring, alerting,



and incident response for all data flows
- Pair-program and collaborate daily with the engineering team

What you bring

- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data engineering
- Strong Python skills and production AWS experience (ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Hands‑on experience with pipeline orchestration tools (Step Functions, Airflow, or similar)
- Terraform or equivalent IaC proficiency
- A track record of building integrations with third‑party APIs at scale
- Professional English proficiency for daily collaboration

Nice to have

- Amazon Bedrock or AI/ML infrastructure experience
- Background in B2B SaaS, logistics, or field‑service industries
