Purpose
The System Reliability Engineering team focuses on enhancing System Reliability, Reliability Engineering, and Resilience across Global Corporate Functions. The team's specific mandate includes Google Cloud Platform engineering and the onboarding of applications to cloud infrastructure.
The Cloud Site Reliability Engineer Associate is an entry-level role responsible for contributing to the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications and infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform. This position involves applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to support the development and operational lifecycle of services. The role will assist in building automation, developing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines,



and implementing observability solutions to monitor system health. The objective is to help ensure that services meet their availability and performance targets by proactively identifying and addressing potential issues. Working within the General Corporate Functions SRE team, the associate will support the onboarding of new applications to the cloud and contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure as code and operational processes.
Accountabilities
- Contribute to the management of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using infrastructure as code practices with tools like Terraform.
- Assist in the development of automation scripts using Python to streamline operational tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to enable reliable software releases.
- Apply fundamental Site Reliability Engineering
