Role: WCAB Paralegal

Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Location: Colombia

Schedule: Mid/Night shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, file, and serve legal pleadings reviewed by attorneys and other documents essential to the case
- Create new requests for legal pleadings
- Communicate with the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, defendants , opposing counsel, internal staff, and clients to facilitate case movement
- Manage firm's hearing calendar to ensure hearings are accurate and up to date
- Audit completed hearings and filed legal pleadings, and update firm's case management system with the results.
- Serve of orders, minutes of hearings,



notices of intent, and other documents issued by the court and assigned to our firm for service

Qualification and requirements:
- Commitment to client work hours (9am to 6pm Pacific Time Zone)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Paralegal certificate preferred.
- 1+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in employment law.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
