Leveraging its success in integrating AI and ML into its platform, CivicScience seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead work that creates predictive models and forecasts for customers by using our exclusive database of 5+ billion consumer insights.

Reporting to the head of data science, this position can be based anywhere in Colombia, with in-person meetings in the United States several times per year and regular meetings in Bogota every few months. B2 or better oral and written English skills are required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced predictive models using machine learning and deep learning techniques
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights,



using statistical techniques
- Develop prototypes for new data products using Python and SQL
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to integrate data-driven solutions into our products
- Lead projects and mentor junior data scientists to promote a culture of data-driven decision making
- Identify new business opportunities and leverage data for value creation

Requirements:
- MS or PhD in data science, computer science, physics, economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or statistics
- 5+ years of experience in data science with a strong focus on machine learning and deep learning in a commercial setting; startup experience, a plus
- Strong statistical analysis skills to understand and interpret petabyte-scale complex datasets and design experiments
- Innovative thinker with a track record of technology-driven problem solving
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; adept at lea
