Job Title: Senior AccountantLocation: Remote – Latin America Preferred (EST Time Zone Preferred)Type of Contract: Full-Time | Remote (EOR or Independent Contractor)Salary Range: Market RatesLanguage Requirements: Advanced to Fluent English (Client-Facing Communication Required)We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant with strong general accounting experience and expertise in tax, audit, and advisory services to join our growing team.You will play a key role in managing client engagements, preparing and reviewing financial and tax deliverables, and supporting advisory initiatives across multiple industries.Your work will directly impact client financial accuracy, compliance, and long-term business success.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps, trusts, and non-profit organizationsPlan, execute, and document audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS standardsPrepare financial statements, workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules with accuracy and timelinessConduct tax and accounting research on complex issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal leadershipSupport CFO advisory engagements including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, KPI reporting, and month-end/year-end close processesBuild and maintain strong client relationships through professional, responsive,



and proactive communicationMentor and review the work of junior accountants and support their professional developmentAssist with process improvements, special projects, and firm-wide operational initiativesStay current on changes in U.S. tax law, accounting standards, and compliance requirementsMust-Have QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3–5+ years of general accounting experience supporting U.S.-based clientsStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, audit procedures, and financial reporting standardsExperience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returnsProficiency with accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar platformsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clientsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAvailability to work within or overlap significantly with EST business hoursCPA license or active CPA track preferred (or equivalent advanced accounting certification in LATAM markets)Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting clients across industries such as technology, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, or retailPrior experience in advisory or outsourced CFO servicesExperience mentoring junior staff in a public accounting environmentFamiliarity with U.S.-based accounting firm workflows and client service expectations#J-*****-Ljbffr
