IT Administrator
Location: Bogota
ROSEN South America, headquartered in Bogota, Colombia, is a leading provider of inspection and integrity management services for the oil and gas industry across South America.
What you can expect
The IT Administrator deploys, configures, maintains and monitors hardware and software to ensure proper operation.
Responsibilities
Provide and ensure identical (secure) software configuration for workstations, notebooks and printers
Identification of vulnerabilities and installation of patches
Guarantee the correct, repeatable and verifiable installation of operating systems and standard software
Maintaining and generating an overview of commercial software installations
Ensure identical hardware configurations for workstations, notebooks, servers and printers
Maintaining and generating an overview of all hardware
Ensure identical hardware and software configurations for mobile phones and corresponding applications
Maintaining and generating an overview of all mobile devices and applications
Mobile communication and data transfers
Support in case of problems with hard- and software
Create and provide documentation of the hard- and software
Knowledge of IT & IT Security guidelines and policies and acting respectively
Prepare and perform internal trainings
Self-education and training on existing technologies, incl.
IT-Security
Qualifications
Systems Engineering degree or related fields
1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, user support, or IT administration roles
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
Experience administering hardware and software for client devices (workstations, notebooks, mobile devices)
Basic experience with IT infrastructure, connectivity, and server room environments
Previous experience with user support, incident handling, and IT service requests
Awareness of IT policies, guidelines, and compliance; knowledge of ISO ***** is a plus
Interest or basic exposure to IT security topics is desirable
Strong service-oriented mindset; willingness to support users and handle requests professionally
Clear and effective communication skills and ability to work well with end users
Ability to work collaboratively and support shared responsibilities
Organized and proactive, able to handle user backlog and audit follow-ups
Proficient in spoken and written English (at least B2 level)
Availability to work in a hybrid model, with at least 2 days per week in the Bogotá office
