Labor Law PC is a California-based plaintiff-side employment law firm. We represent employees facing harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage violations. Our team is mission-driven, fast-moving, and deeply committed to the people we serve, both our clients and our staff. This is a fully remote position.

The Role

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to run the day-to-day operational HR work for our growing firm. You will maintain our policy library, coordinate hiring and onboarding logistics, keep HR documentation and trackers current, and handle the administrative work that supports both our international workforce and our US compliance baseline.

Compensation, Hours and Location

$1,200 to $1,500 USD per month. California business hours. Fully remote.

This role requires strong, confident professional English, both written and verbal. You will be in regular contact with our professional international team.

What You Will Do Policy Library and Implementation

Maintain the firm's policy and procedure library, including version control, accessibility, and annual review cycles.

Hiring and Onboarding Administration

Maintain hiring trackers and candidate pipelines, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, collect hiring paperwork, and coordinate onboarding logistics including account setup and scheduling.

HR Administration

Keep employee spreadsheets and trackers current, maintain HR files and records, track employee leaves, and answer routine HR and benefits procedural questions.

US Compliance Baseline

Maintain our employee handbook,



coordinate sexual harassment training and other required California compliance, and keep required California notices current. Prior US or California HR compliance experience is helpful but not required.

Employment Development Support

Support performance improvement plans administratively, including documentation, tracking, and follow-up cadence. Maintain employee development records.

Bonus and Offboarding Administration

Consolidate bonus tracking for finance and maintain accuracy of bonus-related data. Support offboarding administration and documentation.

Who We are Looking For

- You are highly, organized, follow through without being reminded, and own your tasks to completion. You are proactive: you notice what needs to happen and you make it happen.
- You handle confidential information with discretion, are comfortable working remotely, and take pride in accurate, detail-oriented work.
- You are a fast learner and resourceful. HR specifics are trainable; the discipline and follow-through are not.

Is This the Right Role for You?

This is a coordinator-level role. If you are a Senior HR Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Director, or someone with extensive recruiting leadership experience, this is probably not the right level for you. The work is implementation and operations, not policy design or strategic HR direction.

If you are someone with administrative discipline who is curious about HR, or someone earlier in their HR career who wants to do excellent operational work in a mission-driven environment, this is the right role.
