Social Media Coordinator (Full-Time, Remote – CST Hours Preferred)
Location: Remote
Schedule: Full‑Time Availability (about 8 hours per day) | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Compensation: Paid in COP, starting at 3'000.000 (“Contrato Prestación de Servicios”)

About the Role
Casual Fridays is a creative agency helping hotels and resorts show up smarter and stronger online. We’re hiring a Social Media Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day execution and maintenance of content and community engagement across various brand channels.
This is a behind‑the‑scenes, operational role focused on organizing, managing, and helping deliver great content for our clients. You won’t be client‑facing, but you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient social workflows and ensuring consistent brand touchpoints. If you’re highly organized, enjoy staying on top of social content calendars, and have a good visual eye, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who loves working through checklists, staying organized, and jumping into recurring social tasks without hesitation. You’ll do well in this role if you:
- Enjoy the structure and flow of repeatable tasks
- Have strong written English and visual awareness for high‑quality content
- Are tech‑comfortable and don’t get frustrated by new platforms
- Thrive in fast‑paced, remote team environments
Key Responsibilities Content Support & Organization
- Review previous client calls (via AI transcriptions) and prepare agendas and task lists
- Curate, organize, and label user‑generated content (UGC)
- Write or edit social captions using AI‑assisted tools
- Collaborate with Account Team members on photo drops and asset organization
- Maintain up‑to‑date pinned posts, bios,
and highlight content
Community & Platform Maintenance
- Proactively engage with brand communities following pre‑set guidelines
- Flag potential issues and elevate to Account Teams when necessary
- Conduct quarterly audits of Stories, Highlights, and brand content accuracy
- Monitor for outdated information (e.g., closed amenities, renovations) and prompt updates
- Assist with influencer vetting and research
Internal Coordination
- Support multiple hotel clients alongside the Account Team
- Coordinate with other VAs and internal roles on shared tasks
- Document recurring processes and maintain internal task reports
- Conduct light QA to ensure accuracy of completed tasks
Must‑Have Skills
- Strong English communication (written and verbal)
- Detail‑oriented with a good eye for imagery and presentation
- Comfortable working with tools like Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Monday.com
- Adaptable and tech‑savvy (AI tools, social scheduling platforms, etc.)
Nice‑to‑Have
- Familiarity with tools such as Agora Pulse, Sprinklr, Air.inc, or similar
- Proficiency or experience in Canva
- Experience using ChatGPT, Gemini, or other AI tools to support copy and research
