Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales journey for Public Sector, leading product specialists and cross‑functional teams to close complex, strategic transactions.
- Leverage deep public‑sector experience to navigate and manage long sales cycles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and procurement processes.
- Develop and execute tailored strategies for government agencies, educational institutions, and non‑profit organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their goals and aligning Salesforce solutions to achieve them.
- Implement an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate strong annual growth in revenue and bookings.
- Set and monitor sales metrics, forecast business accurately, and hold yourself and the account team accountable to quota attainment.
- Establish trusted relationships with corporate teams—marketing, product development, field operations, strategy, and recruiting—to drive adoption of sales methodology and tools.
- Coordinate product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer success, staying abreast of competition and market trends.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as an Account Executive or Sales Manager with leadership responsibility.
- Extensive experience working with public‑sector clients, including government procurement processes.
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
- Track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customer base.
- Experience working effectively within highly matrixed organizations.
- Experience leading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy.
- Strong operational and analytical abilities; experience selling complex software at the C‑level.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing sales teams.

- Embed Salesforce values and deliver exemplary leadership.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of pre‑sales or solutions in Public Sector.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and forward‑thinking.
- Sales‑oriented, broad pre‑sales or consulting experience with proven growth track record.
- Deep relationships with C‑level executives at leading companies, with a record of selling solutions at the C‑level.
- Demonstrated success building and leading a pre‑sales or consulting organization with a strong focus on team development.
- Consistent delivery of revenue results, accurate forecasting, and team growth.
- Ability to evaluate and reshape existing teams while mentoring and inspiring staff.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and its business benefits.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business process implementation skills.
