We are seeking a Sales and Sourcing Associate to join our Pharmaceutical Division. This dual role focuses on expanding our customer base through sales activities and developing solid relationships with general manufacturers to source high-quality pharmaceutical and food ingredients.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Identify new prospects and grow existing accounts via cold-calling and email outreach.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, call reports, and market analyses.
- Coordinate with internal supply chain and technical teams to ensure uninterrupted product supply.
Sourcing & Supply Chain
- Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers of active ingredients and excipients.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms with vendors.
- Arrange material sampling/testing and expedite open orders with warehouse and logistics teams.
- Coordinate with quality control and management to resolve any compliance or supply chain issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or related fields.
- Experience: 1-3 years of related experience in sourcing, sales, or shipping of chemicals, food ingredients, or pharmaceutical raw materials.
- Languages: High proficiency/fluency in English (written and spoken) is absolutely required.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel (25%) internationally to trade shows and US HQ, work after hours when necessary, and support other team functions.
