We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator (10+ years) to join our IT team. This role will be key in managing, optimizing, and securing our network infrastructure, including configuring and administering firewalls, monitoring network performance, and implementing secure, business-driven solutions.
The Network Administrator will serve as a technical reference and will be responsible of all Kruger business units on-premises and cloud network infrastructure for day-to-day operations including incidents and services requests. His expertise and participation can be requested for projects delivery and will actively contribute to implementing best practices for availability, security, and performance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Administration & Optimization
- Manage and optimize LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures based on Aruba enterprise solutions.
- Configure and maintain network switching, routing, and segmentation (VLAN, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance of network services.
- Oversee network capacity planning, scalability, and performance tuning.
Firewall & Security Management
- Administer, configure, and maintain Palo Alto next-generation firewalls (NGFW).
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize network security policies.
- Manage VPNs and secure remote access solutions.
- Conduct regular reviews of firewall rules and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex (Level 3) network and firewall issues.
- Provide escalation support for critical incidents impacting business operations.
- Perform firmware updates, patching, and preventive maintenance on network and security equipment.
- Participate in the on‑call rotational schedule and afterhours support.
Projects & Documentation
- Participate in the design, implementation,
and deployment of network and security projects.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration records.
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Local Operations teams to ensure alignment and security compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS
ACADEMIC
- Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer) or Aruba Certified are an asset.
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience in network and security administration.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Technical skills
- Strong expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, including Panorama management console (configuration, policy management, advanced troubleshooting).
- Solid experience with HPE Aruba network solutions (switches, wireless controllers, APs).
- In‑depth knowledge of networking protocols and technology (TCP/IP, STP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, LAN, WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, DHCP, DNS, HA, Load Balancer).
- Proven skills in network segmentation and secure architecture.
- Strong knowledge of MS Visio M365.
Asset
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with operational technology (OT) network considerations.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools (Ops‑Ramp, Aruba Central, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
- Experience with Citrix NetScaler.
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and handle critical incidents under pressure.
- Good communication skills with technical stakeholders and comfortable with non-technical stakeholders.

LANGUAGES
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), min B2 English level required.
