Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- The Director Business Development is part of the Senior Leadership team of adidas Colombia as well as of the Latin America adidas Business Development Leadership organization.
- The role plays a key role in defining and steering the strategy for the company, driving execution, and working cross-functionally to support profitable and sustainable market share growth for the brand in Colombia.
- The role develops /supports and manages key strategic initiatives/projects/programs from planning to execution and addresses all extraordinary challenges to the organization and closely support the Colombia GM and BD LAM in cross functional ad-hoc projects and requests.
- Key Responsibilities:
- (Strategy Planning) Drive the development, evolution and implementation of the country Strategic Business Plan across brands, channels and supporting functions; securing full alignment with LAM strategy. Facilitate an annual strategy review and define yearly priorities (gameplan)
- (Strategy Execution - Project Management) Collaboratively steer,



coordinate and prioritize execution of cross-functional strategic priorities. Drive and guide initiative business owners in setting objectives, developing detailed plans and KPIs.
- (Business Transformation) Own the country year priorities agenda and the lead / co-lead at least one of the x-functional enablers for the strategic ambition. Steer and ensure full alignment across functions and with region to secure timely decisions.
- (Business Opportunities - Ownership) Lead and own the business opportunities process, from identification to business case preparation and implementation. Work closely and lead the team of expert to identify the right process to maximize business opportunities and address business needs.
