We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team and take ownership of agent billing and collections.

Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a daily reconciliation of outstanding balances owed by agents across all fee categories
- Prepare and issue billing statements, ensuring accuracy in charges and clarity in communication
- Proactively follow up with agents regarding past due balances, using clear and respectful communication to ensure timely payments
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, finance, agent services) to ensure fees are correctly assessed and documented
- Assist in improving and maintaining billing processes and tracking systems to ensure accuracy and accountability




- Provide weekly AR reports and updates to the VP of Finance
- Escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate while maintaining strong agent relationships
- Support year-end closing processes and audits related to accounts receivable

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or billing, preferably in a real estate or sales organization

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable reaching out to agents and discussing payments professionally
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
