Responsibilities
- Case Management & Clinical Review
Conduct intake calls and assess if cases qualify for funding
- Review medical records and therapy notes to track injuries and progress
- Identify treatment red flags and recommend next steps (e.g., injections or surgery)
- Coordinate approvals, pre‑op requirements, and post‑op care for high‑cost procedures
- Financial & Lien Oversight
Ensure treatments and billing stay within insurance policy limits
- Approve or deny MRIs, X‑rays, and pain‑management requests
- Collect final medical records and bills to prepare master ledgers for legal use
- Provider, Patient & Case Coordination
Act as the primary link between patients, providers, and attorneys
- Coordinate patient logistics such as medications and transportation
- Update and manage cases daily using CRM systems
- Refer patients to approved nearby providers to reduce no‑shows
- Move cases efficiently from treatment to settlement readiness
Qualifications
Required
- Experience with US medical lien or funding companies (at‑fault states preferred)
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong understanding of the PI case lifecycle, LOPs, and settlements
- Ability to review medical reports, CPT codes, and diagnostic results
- Experience with CRMs such as Filevine, Contact Manager, or Salesforce
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Preferred
- Healthcare background (Nursing, PT, or related field)
- Knowledge of insurance policies and lien laws across multiple US states
