The Opportunity
This is not a task-based outsourcing role.
As an AR Specialist, you will take full ownership of the accounts receivable cycle across multiple U.S. companies. This includes managing invoicing, cash application, customer account accuracy, and ensuring all receivable-related processes operate efficiently and reliably.
You will play a key role in maintaining financial visibility by ensuring that revenue is properly billed, recorded, and reconciled.
This role is designed for someone who operates with strong ownership,
attention to detail, and the ability to independently resolve issues in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Applications
- Apply incoming payments accurately to customer invoices
- Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash
- Ensure timely posting of all cash receipts
- Maintain clear audit trail for all cash application activity
Customer Credits and Refunds Processing
- Process customer credits and refunds accurately and in a timely manner
- Validate supporting documentation and approvals
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and system recording
- Track and reconcile outstanding credits
Customer Reconciliation
- Perform periodic customer account reconciliations
- Identify discrepancies between subledger and customer balances
- Resolve variances through research and coordination with internal teams
- Maintain clean and accurate AR aging
