**General objective**:
The Project Accountant II is responsible for providing financial governance and performance oversight across a portfolio of projects, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost control, working capital management, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. The role supports informed decision‑making by performing percentage‑of‑completion calculations, analyzing financial variances, and monitoring gross margin, wip, and accounts receivable. Working closely with project managers, project controls, and finance, the project accountant ii ensures disciplined month‑end reporting, reliable forecasting, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls while supporting successful project close‑out.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Perform percentage ‑ of ‑ completion (POC) calculations for applicable projects to support accurate revenue recognition.
- Review and validate weekly project cost and revenue exceptions.
- Monitor and analyze gross margin performance, identifying variances and potential risks.
- Review month ‑ end revenue recognition, accruals, overhead allocations, foreign exchange adjustments, and margin accuracy.
- Support resolution of financial anomalies in collaboration with Project Managers and Project Controls.
- Monitor weekly WIP, accounts receivable, unapplied cash, and collection status across the project portfolio.
- Analyze variances and support actions to improve billing timeliness and cash collection.
- Provide regular financial performance insights to project stakeholders.
- Lead post month ‑ end project reporting, including WPR submissions.




- Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting standards and internal governance requirements.
- Compile, review, and validate inputs for project budgets and forecasts.
- Present forecast results and financial outlooks to stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Support ongoing forecast accuracy through variance analysis and performance tracking.
- Partner with Project Managers, Project Controls, and Finance teams to support effective project financial management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- At least 8 years of experience in the financial and/or accounting area or similar functions.
- A B2 or C1 level of English is essential.
- Have experience working with Oracle
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and data analysis).
