**Junior Support Engineer (L2)**

**Requirements**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical individuals.
- Ability to write technical documentation. ** Nice to have**:

- Experience with Managing Windows Servers and Linux/Unix Servers.
- Experience with Monitoring and Alerting Tools a. Pagerduty b. Dynatrace c. Elastic Stack d. Grafana.
- Experience with containerization tech such as Openshift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- ITIL experience.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP and web troubleshooting.
- Experience scripting in bash/shell.
- Experience implementing SRE practices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure system stability and prioritize continuous improvement efforts using modern DevOps/SRE and cloud technologies.
- Assist with software deployments both during and after hours.
- Coordinate with general team members across the GAM footprint to ensure system issues are fully resolved.
- Ensure batch processing is completed (oversight, troubleshooting, issue remediation) and source systems are updated properly to conduct business.
- Track and resolve incidents and problems following ITIL standards.
