**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Order Coordination: Receive and process freight orders for customers. Schedule and plan efficient delivery routes to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
2. Logistical Planning: Coordinate with drivers and logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of aggregate materials. Monitor and adjust delivery schedules in response to unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic, weather conditions, or equipment breakdowns.
3. Communication: Maintain regular communication with drivers through voice and text, ensuring they are informed of delivery schedules, route changes, and any specific customer instructions. Address customer inquiries and provide updates on delivery status as needed.
4. Documentation: Enter order details including pricing into a computer system and use the system to prepare and maintain accurate records deliveries. Generate and review relevant documentation, such as shipping manifests and delivery confirmations.
5. Pricing & Invoicing: collaborate with the accounts payable department to ensure that accurate pricing is established on each order and that driver compensation is accurate.
6. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote adherence to safety protocols and regulations among drivers and other personnel involved in the transportation process.

Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact the timely and accurate delivery of aggregate materials. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
**Qualifications**:
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
**Working Conditions**
This role will be performed from the worker’s personal address. The worker will be required to provide the following equipment at the worker’s expense:
- A modern personal computer with Windows operating system
- Special software will be provided by the company.
- Reliable high speed internet connection
- A noise cancelling professional headset.
- General office supplies (pens, notepads, etc.)
