**Skills and experience you can bring to this role!**
- Qualifications & experience:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or quantitative field (computer science, statistics or related);
- 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience;
- 2+ years of experience with using Snowflake, Redshift or any other MPP data warehousing technology;
- 5+ years of advanced SQL query construction and performance tuning;
- 2+ years of experience with Python or Scala in context of building data pipelines;
- Experience with Airflow or any other orchestration tool;
- Experience with Spark and other tools within the Hadoop ecosystem is a plus;
- Experience with building ELT + ETL data pipelines;
- Experience with EMR or Glue on AWS cloud infrastructure is a plus;
- Experience with agile methodologies is highly desirable;
- Knowledge in Amazon’s AWS ecosystem is highly desirable (Kinesis Stream, S3, RDS, EKS);
- Experience in the Ad Tech field is a strong plus;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to understand the underlying data - why it was used, what information it conveys to the viewer, and how to derive that information from the data source.

**What impact you will make**
- Discuss technical solutions with the development team, communicate goals and facilitate execution;
- Work with the product team to identify and build scalable data pipelines, for consumption by downstream clients;
- Work with end users to optimize their SQL queries and gather feedback on existing data models for either improvements or new procedures;
- Build and maintain automation for various user management, data lineage and compliance needs;
- Build and maintain data cleansing and any associated master data;
- Create monitoring and KPIs for data pipelines;
- Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies to ensure data integrity;
- Participate in coding and contribute to the codebase;
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers;
- Partner with other technology teams to deliver stable, highly available back-end platforms;
- Coordinate with QA team members and work together to achieve automated testing in support of continuous delivery capabilities;
- Have results driven personality, high enthusiasm and can work well with others.
