**What will you do**

The Sr. Buyer, External Manufacturing Procurement is responsible for driving selected sub-categories, including sourcing strategy, deployment, execution /implementation, and stakeholder management, to maximize total cost of ownership savings and Procurement’s value contribution while achieving compliance with policies, strategies, and processes. You will also support the development of robust category strategies, aligned with regions and key stakeholders in EM Make, Planning, Quality, etc. You will strive to meet the mutually agreed Procurement targets contributing to the overall budgeting targets.

In addition to the elements mentioned above the Sr.



Buyer is accountable to define and achieve clear targets in conjunction with his/her Procurement counterparts and business stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
- Drives and owns sub-category within North America and coinciding External Manufacturers
- Analyzes category and sites to perform risk assessment and SRM strategy
- Benchmarks category practices to identify improvement initiatives
- Implements category-specific strategic plan in alignment with the category strategy
- Manages commercial supplier relationship management with key/major suppliers within the defined category scope
- Maintains and manages relationships with key suppliers in the selected category and monitors the performance of key strategic partners
- Leads supplier development activities; sets up cross-functional review meetings with key strategic suppliers in order to improve performance and further cost/demand reductions
- Leads the contracting process with External Manufacturers and ensures proper contractual terms are negotiated and aligned
- Manages relationships with key stakeholders and business representatives
- Acts as a key point of contact for day-to-day supply issues and drives resolution in line with global procurement policies
- Achieves “buy-in” from key stakeholders for major procurement initiatives
- Collaborates and aligns with general/regional/local procurement teams as applicable

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- At least 4 years of relevant supply chain/ Procurement experience
- Experience of 1+ years in External Manufacturing Procurement
- Proficiency in English

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA or relevant degree
