The role:
As a Product Owner at SoftwareOne, you will be key to leading the product functional design process based on your intimate knowledge of customer experience and technology. You are a builder who likes to invent, who will look at different customer experiences to figure out how to reinvent them. You will work with your Product Manager through Ideation and requirement gathering, overseeing the technical development of new features, enhancements, integration, and analytic capabilities.
This is a cross-functional position that will involve engaging and collaborating with various internal and external partners; delivering excellence in the architecture and industry standards across regions, and functions.
You will be responsible for defining the stories and prioritizing the backlog to streamline the execution of product priorities, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components of the solution.
Whilst driving a primary focus on Unified Communications across AWS Connect and / or Microsoft Teams, you will work on integrations with key enterprise-class software and solutions including ServiceNow, Jira, and Operations tooling, and be introduced to other cloud providers including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
You will be part of a dynamic team of skilled colleagues, who all strive to keep their skills and qualifications up to date, so as to support improvements to the solutions which are built. These skills will extend beyond your current abilities ensuring an interesting and challenging environment in which to work.




Your spoken English language and communications skills will be essential in keeping your integral stakeholders informed of progress and dealing with their concerns effectively.
This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and real-world delivery experience distilling business results through solution delivery.

**Objectives & Responsibilities**:

As a Product Owner for Unified Communications you will,
- build and maintain a close collaboration with the development / broader engineering team(s)
- develop user stories which are “ready” for development / engineering to start work and a clear definition of “done”

- deconstruct solutions to configurable elements (we call these Modules) which can be combined, configured across a number of Service Line Solutions
- own these Modules across their lifecycle, evolving them based on market feedback and the needs of the business, when you make changes to your Modules you will understand the upstream and downstream impacts and liaise with those stakeholders
- be responsible for understanding the cost elements of your Modules (people / tools) so that effective Solution pricing can occur
- use your experience to communicate trade-off decisions in the development of a solution
- identify risks to success and develop mitigation strategies

To achieve this you will have experiences which has had you working- across a range of customer size and complexity delivering Unified Communications Solutions- in globally distributed teams and cultures- directly with engineering teams and managing complex technology projects- with current web and service technologies and architectures- with Agile delivery practices- with the following key technologies:
- Contact Centre solution e.g. Amazon Connect-
- Microsoft Teams-
- Cloud Telephony / Direct Routing-
- PBX-
- Cloud DevOps ServicesYou will be expected to maintain your technical skills for AWS Connect and Microsoft Teams whilst developing and refining your Agile skills so as to enable recommended practices to the solutions which you build.

**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Professional Scrum Product Owner Certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner- Skills, experience or qualifications in AWS Connect, go to the front of the queue!- As you will also build solutions focused on Microsoft solutions you will need to understand the platforms for which your solutions and customer environments operate, so Microsoft certifications are desirable, in particular Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer would be a distinct advantage.
